• $0.75 per mile for deliveries from 5-15 miles.

How Delivery Fees and Payouts Work

Delivery fees and online processing fees are deducted from each order payout, ensuring simple and transparent calculations. Here’s how the payout is calculated:

Order Payout = Subtotal + All Applicable Taxes - Delivery Fee - Online Processing Fee

For example:

• Subtotal: $50

• Taxes: $5

• Delivery Fee: $5

• Online Processing Fee (e.g., 4.2% + $0.24 for the PortalPuff Plan): $2.34

Order Payout = $50 + $5 - $5 - $2.34 = $47.66

These deductions are automated, so you can focus on running your store while ensuring accurate payouts.

Set an Order Minimum to Protect Profitability

To ensure profitability, PortalPuff allows you to set an order minimum.

• For example, you can require that customers spend at least $25 to place a delivery order.

• This ensures that the delivery fee and processing fee are covered by the order size, protecting your margins on smaller orders.
