How to Update Your Store Hours

Keeping your store hours accurate is essential for ensuring customers know when your store is open for delivery or pickup. PortalPuff makes it easy to set and update your hours through the dashboard. Follow the steps below to ensure your store information is accurate and up to date, even for holidays and special occasions.

How to Access Store Hours

1. Log In to Your Dashboard

   • Go to login.portalpuff.com and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Store Information

   • In the left-hand menu, click “Store Information”.

3. Select the “Store Hours” Tab

   • Once on the Store Information page, click the “Store Hours” button to access the store hours settings (as shown in the image below).

Setting Your Store Hours

1. Select Your Time Zone

   • Use the dropdown menu at the top to select the correct time zone for your store. This ensures the hours are accurate for your location.

2. 24/7 Stores

   • If your store is open 24/7, simply check the “Store is Open 24/7” box. No further adjustments are necessary.

3. Set Specific Opening and Closing Times

   • For stores with defined hours, toggle each day’s status to “Open” or “Closed” as needed.

   • Enter your Opening Time and Closing Time for each day in 24-hour format:

     • For example:

       • 6:00 PM = 18:00

       • 1:00 AM = 01:00

4. Handling Stores That Close After Midnight

   • If your store closes after midnight (e.g., open until 1:00 AM):

     • Enter the closing time as 01:00.

     • Check the “Open after midnight” box for the applicable day(s).

5. Save Changes

   • Once you’ve entered your store hours, double-check the information and click “Submit” to save your updates.

Remember to Update for Holidays or Special Hours

• Holidays and Special Events: If your store will be closed or have different hours on holidays or special occasions, don’t forget to update your store hours ahead of time.

  • For example, if you plan to close early on New Year’s Eve, update your Closing Time accordingly.

  • Updating your store hours ensures customers are aware of any schedule changes and avoids confusion.

• Revert to Regular Hours: Once the holiday or special event is over, don’t forget to update your store hours back to their regular schedule.

Important Notes

• Accuracy Matters: Ensure your hours are accurate so customers know when they can place orders.

• 24-Hour Time Format:

  • Morning and afternoon hours use the standard format (e.g., 8:00 AM = 08:00).

  • Evening hours require 24-hour time (e.g., 6:00 PM = 18:00).

• Midnight Closures: Always check “Open after midnight” for stores open past midnight to avoid errors in closing times.
